Icom SM-50 Desktop Microphone

Icom SM-50 Desktop Goose Neck Microphone The Icom SM-50 is a unidirectional, dynamic microphone designed for base station operation with select Icom transceivers. (It cannot be used with non-Icom transceivers since the power is supplied from the connected transceiver). The SM-50 features Up-Down tuning (on compatible ICOM transceivers). There is a switch for PTT (push to talk) and also a lock feature. There is also a Low Cut Switch on the top of the base to cut out the low frequency components on input voice signals. IC-OPC589 required for use with radios with modular jack [IC-703, IC-706series, IC-7000, IC-7100]   requires OPC-589 for modular jack
